It has been said that self-knowledge is the most important knowledge there is. Going into stillness every day helps us to connect with our higher self. You'll learn how to meditate, practice stillness along with breathing and journaling exercises, so that you can better handle life's up and downs without turning to food and avoid emotional eating.

Healthy weight loss doesn't happen overnight, and you didn't gain the weight overnight either. But the good news is that your whole life doesn't have to change. The key is to take "baby" steps everyday that promote your health, and your well-being, so that you can proudly reveal the best version of yourself to the world.

Healthy-ish Means You Don't Have to be Perfect

My approach to healthy living is the same as the 80/20 rule. Whatever you do 80% of the time is good enough! We are all Works-in-Progress and we are bound to get frustrated and off track along our health journey. I still have a lot yet to learn about how to love myself unconditionally.. In the meantime, I am loving life as much as I can by staying true to myself by doing what I love, and by helping others to live healthier lives that reflect who they truly are. 

I've wasted a lot of time beating myself up whenever I was "bad", and I've noticed that other people tend to do the same. That's why I believe that when you fall off track is exactly when you need to dig deeper to make it to the finish line. I'm here to encourage you, but I'm also here to challenge any limiting beliefs you may have about yourself, and to hold you accountable to your goals. The truth is you may not always like what I have to say, but I'll stay committed to your success even when you get tired of making the necessary changes you may need to make. Just know that even though you might feel like you somehow moved backward, it doesn't mean you are not still making progress. So don't sweat it. Life happens. Healthy-ish gives you the room to live life on YOUR terms. Just know that through it all, I'll be your biggest cheerleader and I'll offer effective strategies that when applied consistently will yield the results you want.
